In hopes of...

Hello everybody. I work hard... well a lil while at this site. I got frustrated with Xanga, moved to Bloggers and decided I'd fix this up again.

My other site is InTotalSurrender.

Ps 29:9
God's thunder sets the oak trees dancing A wild dance, whirling; the pelting rain strips their branches. We fall to our knees - we call out, "Glory!"

Ps 30:11
You did it: you changed wild lament into whirling dance; You ripped off my black mourning band and decked me with wildflowers.
 Ps 30:11
You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy,

Ps 65:9
Oh, visit the earth, ask her to join the dance! Deck her out in spring showers, fill the God-River with living water. Paint the wheat fields golden. Creation was made for this!
 Ps 65:9
You take care of the earth and water it, making it rich and fertile. The rivers of God will not run dry; they provide a bountiful harvest of grain, for you have ordered it so.

Ps 90:14
Surprise us with love at daybreak; then we'll skip and dance all the day long.
 Ps 90:14
Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives.

Ps 96:12
Let the fields and their crops burst forth with joy! Let the trees of the forest rustle with praise

Ps 119:70
They're bland as a bucket of lard, while I dance to the tune of your revelation.
Ps 119:77
Now comfort me so I can live, really live; your revelation is the tune I dance to.
 Ps 119:77
Surround me with your tender mercies so I may live, for your law is my delight.

 Ps 119:77
Surround me with your tender mercies so I may live, for your law is my delight.

Ps 149:3
Let them praise his name in dance; strike up the band and make great music!
 Ps 149:3
Praise his name with dancing, accompanied by tambourine and harp.

Ps 149:6
Shout the high praises of God, brandish their swords in the wild sword-dance -
 Ps 149:6
Let the praises of God be in their mouths, and a sharp sword in their hands –

Pr 23:16
My heart will dance and sing to the tuneful truth you'll speak.
 Pr 23:16
Yes, my heart will thrill when you speak what is right and just.

So 6:13
Dance, dance, dear Shulammite, Angel-Princess! Dance, and we'll feast our eyes on your grace! Everyone wants to see the Shulammite dance her victory dances of love and peace.
 So 6:13
"Return, return to us, O maid of Shulam. Come back, come back, that we may see you once again." Young Man: "Why do you gaze so intently at this young woman of Shulam, as she moves so gracefully between two lines of dancers? "

Jer 31:13
Young women will dance and be happy, young men and old men will join in. I'll convert their weeping into laughter, lavishing comfort, invading their grief with joy.
 Jer 31:13
The young women will dance for joy, and the men – old and young – will join in the celebration. I will turn their mourning into joy. I will comfort them and exchange their sorrow for rejoicing.

Joh 5:35
John shone brightly for a while, and you benefited and rejoiced.

~Lastly...~
1Th 4:1
One final word, friends. We ask you - urge is more like it - that you keep on doing what we told you to do to please God, not in a dogged religious plod, but in a living, spirited dance.
 1Th 4:1
Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God, as we have taught you. You are doing this already, and we encourage you to do so more and more.

CORRECTION
Ec 7:5
It is better to be criticized by a wise person than to be praised by a fool!

The high priest carries the blood of animals

                                          into the Most Holy Place

                                                as a sin offering,

but the bodies are burned outside the camp.

And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate

                                         to make the people holy

                   through his own blood.

Let us, then, go to him outside the camp,

                   bearing the disgrace he bore.

For here we do not have an enduring city,

but we are looking for the city that is to come.

Hebrews 13:11-14

I never ran across this verse before.

I thought it was cool, it was something that hit close to home.

For so long we think this world we're in, the place where we are at right now

is all there is, all that will ever come.

But there is a kingdom that is coming, a Great city that is yet to come.

One without the sickened brokeness of the world we know today.

Those seeing Jesus, those whose eyes of their hearts are opened,

to this amazing truth that we are saved, that they could be saved if they believe.

Believing in one truth, one Creator, one Love. He has come! He is here!

Hear Him gently or crazily knocking at the door to your heart?

I (Jo) have experienced Him: He's real.

Our probs right now are so real to us right now, in this moment and time.

So could the comfort of Christ that is brought when we ask Him.

He brings a GREAT PEACE to our mind, our soul.. our body.

Great joy in Him.

"Every time you make a choice you are turning the central part of you, the part of you that chooses, into something a little different from what it was before. And taking your life as a whole, with all your innumerable choices, all your life long you are slowly turning this central thing either into a heavenly creature or into a hellish creature; either into a creature that is in harmony with God, and with other creatures, and with itself, or else into one that is in a state of war and hatred with God, and with its fellow creatures, and with itself."

C.S. Lewis

Wow, you know i ran across this and thot to myself "it is so true".

Everytime I am in 'unity' with God and let Him take transformation in my life- there is this unexplainable peace, there is love, there is everything that is good. Everything good growing in me. I sense great joy blooming from within and it shines outwards... its evident.

But when I make the choice to let myself seep into temptations.. into the world, there is great war that grows within. Im not at peace anymore, none makes sense, Im out of whack. I hurt. Anger churns more quickly and uncontrollably. That is evident too.

Which 'fruit' of life do you bear?

That of the light, or that of the dark...

This power of God’s:

There is NOT ONE person,

NOT ONE soul that God CANNOT restore.
